Default Gun Raffle, Wish me Luck!!!

Just thought I would do my little part to throw the odds in my favor using mass concentration. I'm going to the NRA gun raffle in an hour or so. 50 guns and only 1200 tickets sold. They keep putting your name back in the bowl so you could win multiple times. nice.
It starts at 6:00PM Alaska time, so everyone... Mountaintrekker need a new shootin Iron! Let's all think long and hard on that!

I don't want to hear any excuses or slacking! 6PM Alaska time Rick!

    Thanks for your time...

A raffle like that was held in Old Town Maine, I think a few years ago, and it turned out two different people won twice from what my brother in law told me. Best of luck sir.

The tickets are $50.00 each, I'm not usually a gamblin man, so... only one ticket for me. I just heard they did not sell all 1200 tickets. Better odds. Some guys won 2 or 3 guns each last year. Lucky buggers!

I appreciate you buying a ticket for me. I've always told the folks around here how generous you are.

Well, I'm back from from the bar... you people have no mojo, I swear. All 50 guns gone and I didn't even win the pink .22LR cricket. Sheessh! I guess the time zones messed us up.
It was for a good cause though (NRA). I do wish it was for the GOA, but these guys do quite a bit locally.
Oh well, better luck next year! Thanks to all for your support. Rick, I have your ticket if you still want it.

That's too bad, it is a thrill when they pull your number.......

Must have been a nation wide banquet?
DD and SIL went to one last night as well, in Louisiana.
Guess they didn't come home with anything either or she would have called the first thing this morning.

We have our Duck Unlimited dinner coming up in March.
I have been on our chapter's committee for 20 years or so.

Spent a lot of time and money, but gotta say I have been lucky enough over the years, to keep sucking me back in. LOL.
It goes for a good cause, so it's money that I would probably waste, anyway........You know food, morgage, shoes for DW, etc.

Homer Ak came in 11th place nationally last year for money raised. They said this year was even bigger. Great people and tons of free food and coffee. I look at it as a fun evening and a full belly for $50.00. I have spent more for less in the past.
Thanks again and maybe next year we will all concentrate a bit more, maybe I'll post my ticket number next time.

I used to have mojo. A lot of mojo. I left it somewhere, though. Now all I'm left with is stink eye.

I got say I have had good luck over the years, the last gun I won I wasn't even there, but had bought a ticket for the dinner, didn't go, but they still gave out the door prize (I always you had to be there for a door prize?)

Was a Weatherby Vanguard .300 WSM.

I went to pick it up, and it turns out a guy and his son that were on the committee got into a fight over whether I should win it or not.

I don't know who was on my side, but I got the gun and they weren't speaking.
    Oh well.
