All I know about Rick is that he likes twinkies and wears thongs.
Ken has taken his picture so I know it's true.
Ken on the other hand, is a cheap, middle aged SOB lawyer (his words not mine) who likes lists and hates 2D.
    Have I missed anything?

The intro section goes back 58 pages, starting from 3-2-07,and it doesn't look like Rick posted an intro at all, going from his join date, and searching through the pages from November '07 I didn't see one from him

Looks like no introductions are needed.

    Happy to oblige!
Whoever doesn't have an intro, I'll be happy to supply one for them.

I have to say I thought the way the intro requests were made was less than welcoming. After awhile of being on the board you understand the intent. But, the new people do not have that insight.

That being said. It seems to me like most people just make an intro and that is the end of that. Unless they are the super survivor kid or something. LOL

We point them to the sticky that Ken put together and he did a very nice job explaining the reasoning behind asking for an introduction. And it's very clear that it is not mandatory. If, after reading the sticky, they choose not to post an intro then that's their decision as far as I'm concerned.

You forgot his "full-size Twinkie suit." Shame on you!

Speaking of rants and twinkies. I heard the original twinkie had banana flavored filling, but they cut it out during the war or something do to costs or a banana shortage.

I would sure have liked them twinkies if they had banana flavored filling. Now I just have to settle for moon pies.

I got fired from my first job over a girl, a moon pie and a RC cola!

Typical. So Typical. If I had a nickel for every time I heard a story that started, "Well, there was this girl, a moon pie and an RC....."

Oh, no... Mine is there was MY girl, a hostess at Po Folks. An perverted dining room manager. A young dashing heroic prep cook. A moon pie and a RC cola story.

I'm going to write it down and it'll be the next Titanic movie. You know where a relationship with a really hot chick gets ruined by a saboteur. Except the antagonist that sunk my relationship wasn't jewish like the one that sunk the Titanic was.

That must've been before my time. (thank God!)
It's not something I would have easily forgotten although there are a few things I wish I could forget.

Its degrees of difference. YCC once again shows how it is done here.

I have to refer you to NativeDude and Sourdough's posts regarding Wilderness living. they are stickies at the top so you should have no trouble in finding them. Once you've had a chance to peruse the insight that people who live out there (I mean out there), stop by the introduction section and tell us a little more about yourself. We'd love to hear more about your background and fun stuff you've done. This is a very welcoming group and I'm sure you'll find all you want or at least be pointed in the right direction to find the info you seek.
