That was the first I saw of this video, and honestly...the only racial comments and bad behavior came from the woman with the camera and the kid that got his face bloodied. The vet ASKED why the kid was being so hostile and went to the front of the bus to get away from the hostility. If that kid walked up on ANYONE and pulled the crap it would have ended the same way (a fight)...he just walked up on someone that knew how to defend himself and had no problem doing it.

Exactly. They taped him going off on the street, while he was still hopped up on adrenalin and ticked off. Hell...I think I looked worse than that this morning when I poured sour milk in my coffee!! LOL!!

Simple, the older gentleman would have killed the SOB. I am surprised he didn't anyway.

One has to wonder what will come of this though. With the gal egging him on and dropping racial slurs...you have to wonder if they will handle this case as racially motivated or if the video it's self will be enough to make the judge laugh their butts off.

I see no need for courts or judges etc in this matter. From what I saw on the video it looks like a fairly simple communication. Question asked and answered, youngster and his mouthy videographer asked for a beat down and that kindly gentleman complied.

The punk would probably gotten off a few rounds and hit the people sitting beside the 67 year old veteran and the vet would have fired once and the punk would be acquiring ambient air temperature in place of 98.6.

Kind of sad that something like that is so news worthy. I rank it ride along side of Tiger's poorly read apology. The driving question is, "who cares?". Violence, racism, and theft. Sort of smacks of the Colosseum.

There are those who say once you resort to violence, you've already lost. What if they'd been armed? What if they'd been heads of state? What if they'd both had armed mobs backing them up?

I don't necessarily agree with HA's scenario either. Maybe they both would have gone wild with guns and everyone on the bus winding up shot, but...it's all conjecture.
