a few whacks with an antler billet peels it like a tater. the flake on the top right is about to be something... kinda like Crash's driftwood metaphor.. its just screaming "push me"

I'm adding it to my collection of "pride pieces" (not that I put any of them in a case or anything). I have a little space set aside in a cabinet where I keep the nice ones. here's a few recent pieces since my session with Craig. Today's piece dedicated to Poco is on top left.

So I must say THANK YOU POCO!! I, personally, have never had such good quality rock before. I haven't cooked it and it flakes like butter, it thins down really cleanly and holds up really well under my crude handling without breaking in half like the other half dozen I made this week that aren't pictured lol. For this to just be some rocks in the yard, If I had them, they would be like gold. I will share a flake or two with Craig and maybe have him make you something nice to send back your way. Thanks a lot Poco!! Really awesome rocks!!
