If by what I have learned over the years, allow me to help one person to start to prepare. If all the mistakes I have made, let me give one person the wisdom that allows them to save their life or the life of a loved one in an emergency. Then I will truly know that all the work I have done will have been worth every minute.

LOL! That just wasted a swig of beer (it's still dripping from my nose). I'm glad this keyboard is washable.

I'm done with the snow. I don't mind the cold but it doesn't need to stay for months on end.

    Stay warm all.

About 30 to 40 miles north of here, it is still snowing, but here it snowed about 6 or 8 inches and then changed to rain. That's making a nice heavy, wet slush, and tonight is going to be back in the mid 20's (F). The roads should be a mess, in the morning.

Maybe I should go get some more bread and milk. LOL

OK,, I retract the tires freezing in the slush remark.

Maybe just some slush down a boot?

Actually, I was talking about 2D. I buy the groceries around here and even I wouldn't attempt to cross my wife about them. The fact that he keeps bringing up your "once in a life time" error over and over and over again shows a real lack of sympathy on his part.

Awww, I was just picking on a friend. LOL

Actually, this morning, I ventured out to see what was happening around town, and ended up at wal-mart. It was deserted....and the bread shelves were empty. It was kinda wierd. (The deserted part)

I didn't get any milk, but I did pick up 3 pounds of bacon!

"bringing up your "once in a life time" error " Alas if it were true. I stepped in the poopy about an hour or so ago when I went to the store and I was issued a written "emergency supplemental" food order. (we are expecting a trace to 1 inch of snow) I came back with the "order"in my coat pocket and unfilled. But I like 2d did make sure there was an adequate supply of bacon on board. I have now in a manly manner locked myself into my den and refuse to leave (she will be going to bingo in an hour or so)

Yeah, I know how it works. When she would get "upset" with me I used to say, "I'll be in the office." Now, she says, if I need you I'll know where to find you. I may have lost control somewhere along the way.

Forget it. There's no way that little seat would survive that.
