Didn't they use a system like that for picking up the mail? Or pieces of it anyway.

Not knowing is the worst part, I think. I'm glad he's home. At least he'll be more comfortable there. Both of them.

    Ken called me, this morning.
He was wound up.(I know y'all are surprised.) He was telling me how the doctors were saying how tuff he is, that they had never seen anyone that bad off, still functioning. They also couldn't believe his tolerance for pain.

Then he told me that he will still be off-line for a couple more days, because he doesn't have internet access, where he is. Ya see, when he left the hospital, he didn't go home.......he went to his mothers, so that "mommy" can take care of him. (Snicker, snicker....big friggin' sissy! LOL)

I didn't catch the name of the problem that put him in there, but I think it had something to do with being full of crap, for so long! LOL That's my story, and if Ken want's to refute it...then...well.... LOL

    Default Thanks, Everybody!

Thanks, everybody, for your prayers and concern! I've really missed all of you!

I'm pleased to announce that any reports of my death are premature at this time. And I should have known better than to call 2dumb, because, as always, he got the entire story all messed up. And Sarge and Stargazer never answer their phones. At least Crash got it right....

Here's what I, and my docs, know at this time..........

I most probably got nailed with diverticulitis: http://www.medicinenet.com/diverticulosis/article.htm They're not sure yet - I've got a bit of healing to do for a month or so before they can start running me through all the tests. Take a look at the link - I'm probably the worst case scenario.

As you may remember, I was down for the count around the first of the year. I was still getting around, but I was in a tad bit (a helluva lot) of pain - abdominal pain. Around the 7th. and 8th., I was kinda' on my back for the most part. Finally, on the 9th., my brother and my best friend, against my will, dragged me to the Emergency Room where they sent me right up for a CAT scan. The CAT scan found that I had a massive infection in my colon and abdomen. They started me on intraveous antibiotics and 10mg. morphine IV every hour.

My surgeon (I've known him for about 25 years) said there was no way he was going to wait, and had me under the knife soon after.

Just to clear up what that idiot 2dumb said, my surgeon said that I must have an incredible tolerance for pain, because I should have been in the hospital instead of in court on Wednesday. I'm home (my home) now with strict orders not to do any type of work. If you want an idea of what the surgeon did to me, just watch YCC's videos. Yep, I'm all cut up.

Somewhere in the morphine haze, I got a few phone calls in the hospital, and I gather that the sh!t has been hitting the fan around here for some of you. Looks like I've got a load of old posts to read and a lot of catching up to do.

Don't worry. I'm back, and I'll be here more and more often in the next few days. And I'll be takin' names and kickin' butt.....

    Love you guys..........

    Ken

I kept taking up for you...just so you know. It's been a while, though and those posts have probably aged off.
