    Default Ever Feel Like.....

You were living the lyrics of a sad country song?
    I do right now
    1)Unemployed since August
    2)Flat broke and Busted
    3)Car out of commission
    4)No woman in my life
    5) Dog died(ok that happened a few years ago but it "fills out" the lyrics)
Sometimes Surviving is just getting through another day of failing hope. Good thing for me what my grandfather said about me as a boy is still true, "That boy don't have even an ounce of quit in him."

I hope something starts to go your way soon!

    I just love this!:
"That boy don't have even an ounce of quit in him."

"I enjoy surviving." Yes, well I certainly hope so as the other side of that is "DEATH!"

27,000,000 Thats twenty seven Million unemployed in America. That is a lot of humans. Hoosierarcher, one positive thing you could do for both body and mind is devote massive energy to physical fitness, hard to to beat walking for cheap healthy exercise. Good Luck.

Hey, it could be worse, just consider this:

    1. My Wife Ran Off With My Best Friend, And I Sure Do Miss Him
    2. I started out with nothing still have most of it left
    3. She Got The Ring And I Got The Finger
    4. I'm So Miserable Without You; It's like Having You Here

    And my personal favorite:
Who put a stop payment on my reality check?

    Just know this.
You WILL get through it because just like anything else, this is a phase that you have to ride out.
Sourdough is right, as usual. Get out there and start walking. It's cheaper than Prosac and guaranteed to work on body and mind.

Me too HA. I was down in the doldrums a few weeks ago(still am a bit). All I can say is I hope things soon start to improve and in the meantime, you've probably got the biggest, funniest dysfunctional family ever, to have a moan to!

and a teenager ran a stop sign and killed my Civic
    I know what hunts you.

Out of work since June. Some businesses are closing up and heading for parts unknown. Right now the only thing hiring(?) is transportation,OTR and stuff like that.So I may have to head off to truckers school.
Other than that everything is fine... except the cold driving the mice indoors,Our Cat is getting a workout.

I feel like......Looks like I will be getting divorced. But hey life goes on!

It seems to be tough all over. Sourdough is right about exercise and keeping the body in shape to fight depression and be ready for anything that might come up. Good luck on whatever you decide. I'm long retired and really don't know anything about the job market today.

HA - Hang in there, buddy and take advantage of those VA benefits.

CS - I'm sorry to hear that. It's tough enough on adults but really tough on the little folks. Make sure she knows none of it is her fault and both of you still love her. She needs the reassurance.

Sarky - Dang man. Sorry about your luck, too. Did the kid have insurance to replace your Civic? I'd get nothing out of my truck if someone hit it but the darn thing is fine for me and keeps right on chuggin'. You can't replace that.

    "I've been obnoxious
    I've been unconscious
I've been lots of other words that are hard to spell
    I've been unruly, speaking truly
I been so damn cool I couldn't stand myself

Just wanted to share a little more upbeat country song to try to help out some of the bad sh!t that's going down with my friends out there....hang in there guys.
some fella confronted me the other day and asked "What's your problem?" So I told him, "I don't have a problem I am a problem"

Woe is me! Life sucks and then you die! Want some more cheese with that wine? nobody loves me, everybody hates me, I'm gonna go eat worms. Yada yada!

Yep, things are tough all over for "some". "Some" never had nothin to begin with. For some it's so bad they "try" not to think about it.

I can't even begin to talk about all my woes. it's just too much too bear and no good can come from it.

I just try to make it better, pray, and remind myself that others have it much worse.

CS I'm sorry to hear about that. Been through it myself and it gets better...................eventually.

Yeah the way things are right now it is tough everywhere. We all just have to suck it up and Drive on.That is what survival is,just keep on going forth no matter how bad it may seem,or how hopeless it seems. It's making it to "the other side" of whatever trouble or problem or predicament we find in our way. Hoping the best for all my survival mates. You're all in my prayers.

Well at least we're a compassionate bunch.

Can I take your picture before you jump off that ledge? You need to step back a bit. I can't quite get you in the picture. Now where the h@!! did he go?

If ya sing it backwards, you get:
    Dog back.
    Women back
    Car back
    Money back
    Job back

Thats the way country songs are supposed to work.....'course works better if you have Mama, Jail, train, rain in the song.
