Default updates from the eagles nest

so some of you may be wondering where ol eagles been at latley? maybe not lol, but anyhow, 3 yrs ago i found this site looking for ways to survive a bug out scenario, which i did, but also found a new philosophy in bugging in. see my thread "an absolute must read" when i go out to the bush now i have some great skils and of course am usually with allen (i mean seriously talk about haveing the best with ya) i think between the two of us we have a decent chance at surviving, so now to my bugging in.
the past few months i have been following james rawles sites and reading books like "one second after" and "patriots" i have also joined the american preppers network which goes hand in hand with the canadian preppers network which is then broken down into states and provinces like the ontario preppers network, so thats where i been.
also i start a new career tommorrow as a steam fitter at a mill that is local no more long distance commute for me, means better money and less travel so more time to train, which brings me to my last point i am also training for the muskoka iron man triathalon, something i have always wanted to do, most of you know my past competitions so this fits well.
i will still be around here especially during wild edibles season, just have tons of things going on so my participation here will be limited for a while
    thanks to the wolfpack

Well good news all around. Congratulations!! It looks like 2010 is going to be the Year of the Eagle. I look forward to training reports.

    Glad to hear it, WE.

If you don't spend alot of time on here, would you like me to abuse Ken for you, from time to time. I'd be more than happy to.

    The Year of the Eagle

got a nice ring to it eh?

Visit often as you can my friend. I know I can't wait to hear about the things you've been working on.

Good luck with everything, and as Rick said, keep us informed of how things are going.

i have no idea who allen is, but I tried the links in "an absolute must read" and all I got was a server with an attitude, if that's possible. http://www.alpharubicon.com/prepinfo/backpacfever.htm
