Smile I LIKE it!! Long first post

    Your Approximate Age: 57 2/3

    Your Gender: male

Your Geographic Location: small town, S.W. Oklahoma

Your Occupation: Auto mechanic for the last 19 years, currently work mostly on European cars (Merc., BMW, VW, Jag...) about thirty other jobs before this. Lots of construction work.

Your Prior Relevant Training: CERT certified

The Nature of Your Prior Experiences: Air Force brat born just east of Phoenix, moved to Newfoundland (St.John's) at age three, nice change of climate! Moved to Louisiana age five and started disappearing every chance I got just after breakfast and would wander back to the house around sundown for my daily spanking (it was worth it!) Age seven moved back up to Newfoundland (Harmon AFB @ Stephenville.) I got to play in the snow a lot more this trip (more spankings.) Age twelve Dad finally retired and moved back to his home state of Oklahoma. By now Mom had given up on the spanking and just glad on the occasions that I would come home in dry clothes. Moved back to Phoenix 1990-95 for Job training. Now in Oklahoma.

Your Level of Experience: Jack of all (most) climates.

Your Preparedness Planning: very limited, stocked up on wax, cord, pretty good with a couple simple weapons (blowgun and atlatl) and I've always taken an interest in edible plants, knots, traps and snares. Done some fishing and bird hunting.

Your Interests and Hobbies: Photography, primitive weapons and survival!!

Your Membership and Learning Objectives: Get a real plan going and learn, learn, learn!! Started by reading the entire "What have you done.." thread and feel more confident already. I can already tell I'll be spending almost as much time here as I do at the blowgun forum.

Welcome to the Forums. I'm about 30 Minutes South of Lawton.
Ken has helped me out so much with legal stuff, I need to keep track of it so I can pay him back. I will be placing a 'score card' in my sig as a reminder.

    Welcome to the asylum
If by what I have learned over the years, allow me to help one person to start to prepare. If all the mistakes I have made, let me give one person the wisdom that allows them to save their life or the life of a loved one in an emergency. Then I will truly know that all the work I have done will have been worth every minute.
