I knew it! the little bar steward has been on silent mode! I've had a busy day baking and all. I ran out of flour, so went to get a fresh bag and the little furball had munched a hole in the corner! flour every bloody where.

1st of all, sticky traps really work, just put a small dab of peanut butter in the center!

2nd, put Bay leaves in your flour containers & anything else you think "Mickey" might eat!

    3rd, invest in a really good "ball-bearing mousetrap!" (ie. a tom-cat!)

    Go get'em Wolf!

Got the Tomcat(well sort of,he has no "toms" anymore, and he's pretty darn good, but doesn't go in the pantry. After the holidays.... STICKY TRAPS IT IS! In the meantime the Little Nippers are primed and ready to snap!

Winnie, Some years ago a lady, who at that time was 86 years old, had three marten living in her cabin. She asked me if I would loan her some #1 long spring traps. She tried for two weeks to trap them, she got one, the other two she shot in the kitchen or bedroom.

Oh believe me Sourdough, if I could shoot it, I would. Nanny Britain doesn't allow it's citizens things that go Bang. A marten would be handy right about now though

This does not bode well at all. What with the storm and all we'll have to chop a hole in the ice to launch the Fairly Agile Response Team (FART) boat. I certainly hope it isn't chop and sail all the way to Britain.

How about a BB gun? Are those allowed? That would surely work as well as a "Firearm" on your enemy. Look at it as an opportunity to practice your snares

Stargazer who are you kidding? The mice would just end up hiring Ken and then it would be a long drawn out litigation, That would last for years until the mice expired of Natural Causes!! LOL

Oh, they're going to expire all right. I'm not so certain about natural causes, however.

Mice are such a pain!!! I always have regular traps baited with peanut butter in the basement and the attic. I've eliminated about 20 since fall but I know more are lurking about!!!

    Hope you get it soon!!

Oh I intend to CGU! I'm certain it's the same one. Last time it ate my laundry powder
I'm still waiting on the FART coming to the rescue. At the last estimation it was going to make landfall at half past fall. Mind you, with the new flotation device I'm not so sure......

Past experience has shown us that standard flotation devices rarely operate properly without extensive handling. It's frustrating but necessary. However, given the scope of the new device it could take considerably longer just to find our way around.

    Laundry powder?

That mouse is too stupid to live.

I had one pantry mouse. At least it had the good sense to go for the cheese raviolis before it developed a fatal attraction to peanut butter.

I have three cats and the only mice I find are the dead kind. My kitties bring me little love gifts all the time....so sweet.
