    Default best movie experience

last night i saw avatar in 3D...omg wow!
the thing that really makes that movie awesome are the visuals. its very colorful, imaginative, and epic and seeing that in 3D was the best movie experience i have ever had so if your into visual movies and able to see it in 3D do it its sooo worth it.

yea something between 200 and 500 million and 10 years to make. this movie is mind blowing in 3D. im trying to find ways i can watch it at home in 3D. it would be a shame to only be able to see it in 2D although it would still be really good its just not the same.

When I read best movie experience I thought of my younger years at drive-in theaters then discovered it was about a darn movie. Well you sure missed a good story.

OK the visuals are stunning, but how is the storyline?

i thought the story line was good. some of the characters could have used some improvement though especially the bad guys (they were a bit cliche imo) but most were good. there are some cheesy moments but overall still a descent story.

    on a scale 1-10
    visuals 10
    story 7
    dialog 4
    depth of characters 5
id give the originality of some of the concepts (such as the way their tree worked and how they hooked into it and the rest of the creatures) a 7
it had a good and smooth flow from beginning to middle to end. i hate it when some movies feel cut off at the end or like they dont have smooth transitions. id give this one an 8 or 9 on that.
fun, excitement, & thrill factor 9

I'm a big fan of sci-fi movies.... But this one just didn't excite me... After reading you guys reviews though, I'm thinkin i'll give it a chance.

Depends on the city and time. Here prices range (I think) from $5 for early showings to $7 or $8. Some big cities I've heard charge $12 or more.

thats a good criteria. i like that it held my attention from the beginning not having to wait a half hour to get into it like most. it is exciting from the start. and it is very fun. 9 or 10 on both those for me. ill add that to my list.

Like crash said depends on city and time... Also the theater ... Around me there are some old run down theaters wit poor sound systems that you can get in for a buc or 2... Most are closer to 10... The high tech state of the art ones are almost 20 for peak showtimes... crazy $ for a movie imo..
My sis was the district mngr at a fancy theater up until a month ago.. Used to see whatever wanted for free... The tickets would say "complimentary"
Unfortunately, (for me) she quit for a higher paying job.

I took the kids to see it in 3D today and was pleasantly surprised. We all liked it and my fourteen year old daughter is at the age where she rarely admits to liking anything. It will definitely keep your attention.
