Look at the bright side. You can really tie into him while he's not here to defend himself. On with the show, I say.

Since you're all worried about me.........

I last posted on Saturday afternoon. Then, I ran through a few checklists.

Then I made sure Mom would be okay with the storm coming. Yep, I made sure someone would plow the driveway early enought to keep her away from a shovel.

Then I loaded the snowblower and the beagles into the Explorer (damn snowblower is HEAVY and I had to drive with the rear hatch window open ) and drove to the R.I. house.

We had a Christmas party at 6:00 (I ate like a pig - only one drink - I had to drive) and of course no anount of begging would get my Sweetie to leave before the blizzards was in full force. A 15 minute drive back home became a 45 minute drive. There was about 4 inches of snow on the driveway when we got home. )Total snowfall was about 21" - the few drifts in the yard were about 36".)

We let the 4 mutts out, lit a fire, fixed a Bailey's Hot Chocolate, let the mutts back in, and relaxed. Got up the next day - spent 3 hours clearing the snow, and puttered in the basement in the afternoon. Oh yeah, fixed a GREAT prime rib roast for dinner on Sunday. Sunday night and all day today was PAPERWORK so that maybe I can goof off a bit next week.

    Tomorrow begins my Christmas shopping!

Gee, even Rick said he missed me.

This place is a little dusty. I'll ask the night shift to work on that.

You don't remember correctly..a rod agreed to come for LESS money than his contract was worth but the commissioner and players association wouldn't aprove the deal.

Glad he appeared. I was gonna suggest an ambulance siren to call him in. Remember that in case it happens again.
