I think a smaller pack would work for the Tabby. Something just large enough to carry garlic powder, some salt and pepper, and a bay leaf or two. I assume you normally carry a reasonably sized pot and utensils so the smaller 'emergency cat lunch pack' would be all that is needed.

If you don't carry a pot, a turkey roasting bag would probably fit in with the other items rick suggested.
Sure. You could even improvise with a couple of sticks and make a spit.

So, last night the cult classic "A Boy and His Dog" was on the tube. You said the kitty was a chick magnet but he "find" women?
I know what hunts you.
just wondering, what would a cats survival supplies be?
i guess he could carry a lil bit of food but what else?
My hat is off to you sir, just the idea of getting a cat to do anything that you want him to is surely an accomplishment.
That being said, Sorry, but I can see IT coming, with all the talk about spices, cooking bags, tin foil etc.
Maybe you would want to include a copy of the famous Chinese cook book "101 ways to Wok your Cat".
A billion or so Chinese can't be wrong
Old mountain man saying, "Never name anything you might have to eat one day"
There a lot to be said as far as "walking your groceries", but then again if he a vicious as you say, he might be thinking along the same lines.
Watch your back.
Sorry I couldn't resist, I have had a lot of cats over the years, and for the most part, they have always pretty much taken care of their selves.
I have to admit thgat they were the first true "Lap Tops".

I think she has the right idea. Show her the super protective survival box with the wire bed frame. Explain to her that you'll put an oval bed inside just for her should things get really bad. It has a night light and everything with a way cool warming unit. You can even do a test. Have her get in the bed, sliiiiiiide it inside the super protective survival box, set the way cool warming unit to 375 then turn on the night light in about 2 hours to check on her. Muhahahahahahahahahaahahahahaha

Gosh! Do I ever owe you an apology. You said walk and I thought you said wok. My bad all around.Originally Posted by SJJ
By the way, can't you just toss that cat out the window if there's a fire? I understand they always land on their feet.

I actually have a cat carrier on my third floor tied to a rope so I can take him with me if I need to escape a fire from the third floor. I also have a year of survival cat food stored along with a special medical kit for my cat which the vet helped me prepare. [/QUOTE]
Great idea on the cat carrier/firs escape plan!
My pets are NOT part of the emergency food supply either!!
LOL![]()
"I enjoy surviving." Yes, well I certainly hope so as the other side of that is "DEATH!"

I have a cat carrier. I use it if my attack beagle gets bored and can't find anything to chase.
Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he's too old
to fight... he'll just kill you.
You know sourdough, sjj said his cat was a "chick magnet". Maybe you should switch the geese for a cat on a leash. Hey, it might help.![]()
