I'm wondering if the homeowner has the same trait I do of answering the door after dark with a pistol in my hand and hidden behind my back.

To bad the guy had to die. Maybe that will teach him not to be stupid. Let's hope they catch the other guy and reward him with a paid vacation to Pendleton. As for the home owner, proof once again that Indiana has the right idea on gun ownership. Looks like a win/win to me.

    Cool Hmmm.....

Like to see them try that at Ken's house, he's got so many guns that they wouldn't even see it coming...then he'd ask them if they needed a lawyer in court! (walks off shaking head.)

Nell, I know you probably meant figuratively, but to anybody - I would advise against keeping a weapon near your door. If the door is comprimised, it may end up on the other side of the bad guy - or worse - bad guy may have access to it.

Just heard from an Amish man, that the man who was attacked is one of their regular drivers, not all of the story has been released, but when the attackers first made entry to the home, they threatened the homeowner, demanding $1000,he went to another room with them following them, got the money they asked for and they then demanded more, and beat him when he refused, and took more money, the gentleman was able to crawl to his gun and and began shooting, hitting the first man.

They are questioning the homeowner grandson as the possible accomplice.

Well, whoever that accomplice was, he's probably facing a murder charge.

This rule also applies to the death of one of the perpetrators involved, even if that perpetrator was killed by an intended victim.

Sadly, seems like that may be a possibility.

If that's the case then he's that one that should have been shot.
