    Default Manhunt!

About an hour ago, a 35 year old woman in town was shot in her kitchen (while bringing in groceries) in what has been called a "targeted shooting." The guy supposedly took off on foot. There must be 100 local and state police and sheriff's deputies looking for the guy. K-9 units all over the place. They've set up a command post at my old elementary school and have 2 helicopters in the air - they fly over my house about once every minute. Reverse 911 phone calls warning people to stay indoors with doors locked and floodlights on....

And here I am. Sitting here, just bored to tears, with my .40 HK and my 870 by my side. Think I'll open up my doors to get some fresh air in here.

Thats the spirit Ken! Don't let the bad guys keep you from getting fresh air or target practice.

The two canine critters just came inside. Anybody who even looks sideways at my squirrels is history.

2? I thought you had 3 Have you still got the Bassett?

I would imagine the lowlife would need some ventilation too don't you think?

Worse, the problem was upstream and we've forgotten the paddles.

Maybe we should call ourselves the Fairly Agile Response Team (FART) since we aren't really very Rapid

And a good arguement against the agile part could be made also,Just saying.

I think the average age of available responders could challenge many geriatric centers.

But that advantage would be we'd wander off in different directions increasing the likelihood that we'd.....why were we wandering off again?
