Thread: 5.11 Tactical PUSH Pack

  1. #1

Thumbs up 5.11 Tactical PUSH Pack

5.11 Tactical PUSH Pack. PUSH, short for Practical Utility Shoulder Hold.

Anyone ever use one I was thinking it would make a great hunting bag. Most of my hunting trips are not far from the vehicle or the house. I'm not as mobile as I used to be. This thing is kind of like a modern day possible bag!

I'm not thinking of making this a BOB or a GBH type of bag. But it might be a good bag to throw a few mags and essentials in if you have to get out of Dodge in a hurry. Along with your main BOB of course.

They do look similar to the Maxpeditions. I've got the Maxpedition Fatboy and Jumbo. I use mostly the Jumbo now, but like them both. (don't tell Sourdough)

5.11 is fan boy gear. LOL

Might as well wear your Glock or 1911 on your outside hip at 3:00.

i know a lot of guys that say the 5.11 Pushpack is really good quality. i use the maxped jumbo and that style of bag is just a good overall design. if you cant afford maxpeds price i would go with 5.11.

Like I said I'm planning on using it like a modern day possible bag but then maybe characters like Daniel Boone, Simon Kenton and the like are too feminine for you guys!

For hunting, I use by butt pack and load bearing suspenders. The belt allows me to carry my field radio, a canteen, a sidearm in drop leg, my first aid kit as well as the butt pack. Squirrels and rabbits fit inside the bag. If you've used one then you know the advantages.

I was just joking. But, the term fan boy is pretty well applied to a lot of people who wear 5.11 or dress like there favorite range instructor everywhere they go.

Definetly a crack at that group of people and not the bag itself or the Maxpedition type bags.

LOL! I knew you were just jokin' that's why I threw it back at ya! I wasn't sure what fanboy gear was but I was sure it was derogatory! LOL!

I mean a guy's got to defend himself a little when one guy throws out fanboy gear and another says it looks like his wife's purse!

I use one of these. Hard to beat 5 of them for $20. I changed the strap to a wider one that I had laying around the house. I hook it to my holster belt, and it carries well. (Carries pretty well without the holster belt also).
