There is no greater solitude than that of the Tracker in the forest, unless perhaps it's that of the wolf in the wilderness.

For each new morning Thanksgiving Prayer

For each new morning with its light,
For rest and shelter of the night,
    For health and food,
    For love and friends,
    For everything Thy goodness sends.

    Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! (Even Ken.)

Winnie, I think you are more "thankful" for what you have, every day, than what a lot of people are, on our day of thanks. That's just one of the reasons, that we all like you so much.

"........ and to all a good night." Oh wait, wrong day. Happy Thanksgiving to all WS folks from the Old GI home on the prairie. MRS GI (can't say old)and I are staying home; so we're thankful and relaxing. Well, I am - football and turkey, doesn't get much better than that. She is already ordering me to "STAY OUT OF THE KITCHEN" and I say Yes, Dear; I don't bruise as much when I say that. Be safe.

I thank the good lord every day that I have Winnie jnr, my health isn't too bad, my life in general and of courrse the friends I've made here. Yes things could be better but that's down to me not him. Well I have number blindness setting in, so I'm going to cruise around a bit then off to bed.

Did the Native American's say: Happy Thanksgiving to the Pilgrims for stealing all their land and bringing them disease.... Hmmm, No.

As it turned out, yesterday my youngest son announced that they are going to have a baby. So we have a LOT more to be thankful for. Looks like I'm going to be a grandpa again.
