    Default Hello from Harvey

I'm between 33 & 87 in the southwest operating in a classified capacity. Have a CCW but no gun yet (too many options!). I have access to a lot of survival gear but would not consider myself above the novice level at the moment. I am interested in keeping abreast of survival topics. Survival never seems to go out of style.

I would normally tell you hello and welcome at this point, but I can't. It's classified, and then there's that whole messy thing that happens if I tell you hello and welcome. Guess I'll just say howdy.

    Thank you, ladies & gentlemen.

I am taking suggestions on cheap beginners firearms (for survival). I liked the glock 19 i used to to get my CCW but I also got a kick out of a kel-tec sub2000 and a ruger mini. I just can't decide. The deadliest weapon I have at the moment is my plastic CCW card.

Aren't you the clown..... a mini or the sub 2000 as a ccw gun? Do you even know what you are talking about?

One thing that you may find is that you may need to share a bit more information before people are comfortable giving advice on firearms, or at least have that information be useful for you.

For example, before I could give you meaningful advice, I'd need to know your real age, how many rounds you've put downrange with the Glock, what other weapons have you fired, what you want the firearm that you are going to buy to accomplish (cc, home defense, wilderness survival, game procurement, etc.).

Hence my question about real age.

Ah yes. I was only stating that the deadliest item I had on hand was a CCW permit, not that I would attempt conceal a long gun. Sorry for the confusion.

Welcome home, I think. Not often we get clowns signing up. They seem to survive pretty well in those tiny cars.

    Cool Hmmm.....

Looks like you might be close to, or live in, Atlanta, GA. Why do you feel that a gun is needed for survival? What guns are you familiar with? What background/experience have you had with firearms? Are you a reloader? Tell you what, No intro, no info; fair enough?
