Hello to all from small town Kuna, Idaho
Hello, My name is Sam. I am 34 years old and live in Idaho. I guess I am an advanced level wilderness backpacker. Most of my trips into the wild are for no longer than a week, a few times a year during spring,summer, and fall. Although I bring food for back up, living off the land is always the goal; such as, fish and berries. I work in law enforcement and free time is usually spent planning a backpacking trip or with family and friends. something I have been inspired to do for awhile now is to strap on my backpack and head for the woods, with out a vehicle to get me there, all on foot. my goal would be to explore the woods throughout the northwest; then ultimately landing me in Alaska and back. I'm still not sure if I'm crazy or just adventurous.
