    Default Halloween Giveaway

    Just as an appreciation for not getting together kicking me out of this great forum I want to have a little giveaway. Its nothing big and fancy. I have a firesteel and piece of fatwood. I also will give away a small crude little thingymajig that I ground out of some extra piece os A2 tool steel left over from a batch of knives I am working on. The firesteel has been used a little bit but has lots and lots of life left. I used this piece to practice fileworking. I will clean up the little tool it still had scale from the heat treat.

    On to the rules. You must have at least 30 posts, and only the lower 48 states please...sorry. All you got to do is post "Happy Halloween", or if you don't want to post that just post "Thank goodness its fall" and choose a number from 1-1000. I will let this run until Friday November 6th at 8PM CT. I will figure out how to randomley choose a number online. If anyone know a free online random number generator please let me know. Thanks for keeping this guy around. I have never met any one of yall in person, but I still consider you true friends.

    Cool Oh yeah....

    Don't make the moderators a really nice knife for allowing you to stay on here! Oh no! That'd be too much to expect! On the serious side, I think that the drawing should be for those less fortunate so I'll like wise not compete. Cool idea though!

    No the reason I said I don't qualify is I already have about 7 firesteels in different makes model and sizes. plus 3 pieces of "fat lighter". Like others, I remove myself from this competition. I just wanted to comment on the nice offer Frank.

    Oly You are in so much TROUBLE!!!! Dottie/Equus is waiting her turn on the computer!!! She has already seen it and is getting kinda' pushy I think she is setting up the clock on me right now!!! Which reminds me......

    Don't forget to set Clocks back one hour tonight before you go to bed!!!!
