See pretty much if we all get together we can teach and show our skills, for me its seeing and then doing, and if no one is there to show me then I just go and try until i get it right. I don't think you can actually get certified (i may be wrong) in teaching survival, now some school you attend may give you certificate they had made up, but then what governing body actually handles the criteria for saying you are now lic. to teach. Most people such as Tom Brown Jr. and others were taught at a young age so now its second nature to them, and so they pass it on and give a certificate for comleting the class and then give one for becoming an instructor. But that is from their school, there is no actual governing body for wilderness servival. Sooooo (getting long winded) find someone you know is really good in the woods and have them show you, word of mouth is best for wilderness survival schools, and this site is probably the no.1 site on wilderness survival (after you swim thru all our bs and ranting)
I think I could teach certain aspects of wilderness survival, I have taught the public other types of classes, and taught in the military, but not all aspects, not that I couldn't but I know my strengths and weaknesses, so I'd get someone I knew was strong in place I am lacking (like Native Dude or WE for shroom id) and have them teach that portion as I worked on my own skills to strengthen them.
Just my thoughts.
Beo,

) and have them teach that portion as I worked on my own skills to strengthen them.
