Actually, 2d2k, I do have an old squirrel stew recipe:
    Ingredients
    6 squirrels
    1 hen or large chicken
    1/2 lb. sliced bacon
    3 - 2 lb. cans tomatoes
2 - 2 lb. cans whole kernel corn
    1 bunch celery
    1 bunch carrots
    1 lb. onion
    1 lb. okra
    2 bay leaves
    6 large Irish potatoes, diced
    2 red peppers (hot)
    1 stick butter
    Worcestershire sauce (to taste)
    salt (to taste)
    pepper (to taste)
    Tabasco (to taste)
    Catsup (to taste)

Boil squirrels and hen in enough water to have a good amount of stock left. Season with salt and pepper. Discard bones and skin. Strain stock. Cut meat into large pieces. Add to stock. Cook in a large kettle. Add all ingredients except corn. Cook slowly for several hours, stirring often. Heat corn in a double boiler and add to stew when nearly done. The kettle of stew may then be placed in a dish pan of hot water over low heat to keep hot until serving time. Any other vegetables or seasonings may be added to suit individual taste. Serves 15 to 20.

I don't think so. You should have seen it when she tried to make gravy. It got so bad that I was afraid to make any jokes about it. (Now thats bad!)

Now, every time I'm near Bass Pro Shops, I stop in and get some white gravy mix. (It's actually pretty dang good!)

    Grilled Burgers

    INGREDIENTS:

    1 pound lean ground beef
    1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    ½ tablespoon liquid smoke flavoring
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    seasoned salt to taste

    DIRECTIONS:
    1. Preheat a grill for high heat.
    2. In a medium bowl, lightly mix together the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke and garlic powder. Form into 3 patties, handling the meat minimally. Brush both sides of each patty with some oil, and season with seasoned salt.
    3. Place the patties on the grill grate, and cook for about 5 minutes per side, until well done.

Ya' know, I just don't enjoy a burger as much if it doesn't have some bread crumbs mixed in. I just toss some bread in the food processor and zap it up and mix it in.

No matter what king of ground beef I use, no matter what's mixed in, even that Kobe Beef Burger I had a few weeks back - which was pretty darned good .......

hand pulled kobe beef brisket mixed with ½ pound fresh ground kobe beef, caramelized red onion tomato jam, vermont white cheddar cheese,
    topped with crisp coleslaw 21

    sacrilege!!!!!

    cream Gravy
    2 Tablespoons Oil
    2 Tablespoons Butter
    5 Tablespoons Flour
    Salt & Pepper
    1 1/2 Cups Milk
    1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
    2 More Tablespoons Butter
    Paprika
    Red Pepper (optional)

Stir Oil And 2 Tablespoons Butter Over Medium High Heat. Add About 5 Tablespoons Flour. (this Varies, Depending On How Thick Or Thin You Prefer Gravy.) Stir And Reduce Heat. Continue To Stir At Least 3 Minutes. Add Salt And Pepper. Pour In Milk And Cream. Reduce Heat Again And Let Gravy Bubble 2-3 Minutes. Add Remaining 2 Tablespoons Butter And A Generous Amount Of Paprika. Stir Well And Remove From Heat.

If Gravy Is Too Thick, Add More Milk And Cream; If Too Thin, Put Flour In A Glass With A Small Amount Of Milk And Stir Vigorously Before Adding To Gravy And Cook, Stirring For 5 Minutes. (this Avoids Lumps.) Sprinkle Red Pepper Over Gravy If Desired.
    Yield: 6 Servings
