Crashdive is running away in the rankings, you get points for each type of activity and with so many pictures and plots he is far in first place.

Are you going to let him get away with that? Don't forget, there are prizes:

I could have called that one. The guy is a walking encyclopedia...but I have already said that more than a few times.

I say that he should be BANNED just to level up the playing field. I hear that his computer has been using steroids.

Actually, I know very little about wild edibles. I'm using you guys and gals along with the Wild Crafting Site and a few books to learn. I drive quite a bit every day. While I'm out driving and see something, I just jot it down. Sometimes I'll stop and take pictures to try and get some detail that wasn't shown in previous pictures. Today I'm going to rumage through my storage shed and see if I can find an old hand held gps. It's not fancy - no maps or charts --- but - if I see something, I can just store a waypoint and then load the lat and long when I get on line. Hopefully I will find a lot between Florida and Indiana.

I'm expecting a confession from that computer of yours.

Crash your cheating, no one said you could actually go out in the wilds and do this stuff... lol... I got few not so nice pics from Afghanistan, well not appropriate for here though.
There is no greater solitude than that of the Tracker in the forest, unless perhaps it's that of the wolf in the wilderness.

Found it! It's an old Garmin GPS12 (discontinued for prbably 10 years). But, I can store 500 waypoints in it - gonna make driving safer anyway.

I actually had to find and download a users manual for it. It's been in storage since I sold my boat - that was 8 years ago. Took it out today and it works the same as the day I bought it. https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=87#gps12

    Sweet!!

I tried to revive a 1986-87 Loran C unit about 2003 it worked but it was a little more than I wanted to learn. I think I still have it. It was made by Marinetek? Some sort of ship navigation system. I had to roll the cord up in my boat it was long enough to install in a ship.

You should have seen the size of the Loarn-C's we had on my first submarine. About 450 pounds each.

Haven't used LC since I sold my boat. I would think it still is. Don't know though if GPS has caused it to be phased out.
