Survival Camp
My youngest daughter (age 11) just headed off to the YMCA Survivor camp for the next 5 days. She was the ONLY girl (good odds, huh?). They had her fill out a form to let them know a little bit about her before camp. The only thing she was worried about was that they would make her eat bugs lol She listed as a dislike: sissy girlsThat's my girl!

She started karate last month, but if worse comes to worse, I think she is stronger than any of the boys there, so she could probably take 'em with brute force alone.

The kids are ages 11-14 and like I said, she's a strong one and could probably take 'em. She has 3 older sisters, 1 older brother, and one younger brother... she can hold her own. You should be worried for the boys

Amber got back from survival camp and had a great time. I think she already knew most of what they taught at the camp, but it was a nice reprieve for her from "sissy girls". She was also happy that she didn't have to poop in the woods like a bear (they had porta-potties). The only issue I had was that we had to hose her down when she came home.
