Default Police & Fire Communications Website

Check this out! You can click on your state, county, and locale, and in many places listen in on police and fire transmissions. Kinda' cool!

I have a scanner on next to the computer, TV on, attack beagle snoring. Wonder why we
are alone in the basement? A small place like this first the scanner, then siren in the distance followed by a phone call, nothing on Fox wonder why?

Got ya' beat, Coot. I have a TWO-WAY (yep, it's licensed - trade secret) police/fire next to the computer and TWO attack beagles snoring AND FARTING. THREE Phone lines, and my new home office will be in the basement, just like yours. With two tin cans and a long enough piece of string, you and I could have some great conversations.

I don't feel like a minnow. Actually, I don't look like one either. Well, okay, a CUDDLY minnow maybe.

Right, I would rather lose than get more beagles. After smelling one I give up, quit and concede. I keep his rear end pointed toward the fireplace, seems to help some but the SS chimney cap needs replaced often.

Ken - my son loves the scanner link, he thinks it's "crazy"...

I'm glad your son enjoys it, PVG!

If he doesn't know (he probably does because he's a kid and kids know everything about computers) you can minimize the site and just have it on in the background while you post here or surf the web or whatever.

Oh yes, he's all over it. He's 15 and will be starting his Junior year of high school. I'm sure it will be passed around to all his friends. THANKS
