Default Real Life Survival: Woman Lost for 6 days

    http://www.chroniclejournal.com/stor....php?id=199688

The story goes that she stopped for a nature hike and got disorientated.

She was gone from Sunday Morning to Saturday Morning. 6 nights.

I sort of know the area she was lost and there are a few things that don't add up.

    1. She was beside a river. The river flows under the road. Follow the flow of the river back to the road.

    2. Where the river and road meet here there is some major bridge reconstruction going on. This is a very sparsely populated area and the sound of the work being done would have been quite noticable.

Either way she lasted 6 days in the bush and only suffered from insect bites and dehydration.

Maybe she's just looking to write a book or get her own TV series.

I suspect that some are just looking for attention.

If she was dehydrated was she not by the river, thus couldn't follow it to the bridge maybe?

Sound travels but once you go up a peak (even 100 to 150ft) the sound on the other side can be almost non-existent, and don't forget that the tall trees (if that's the case here) with even slight wind can REALLY drown out sound.

I am very suspicious about this same thing. There were a pile of government and private resources used up to find this woman. If she was doing it for attention, I sure hope they send her the bill.

It's possible she had gone somewhere else and this is a cover story. Of course there is always the chance of mental illness too.
