Nope, too expensive. I make my own. I carry an assisted folder close to $100 but only as a last ditch use, defense.

Yeah $100 is to expensive for a knife in my opinion, remember its only a tool. Good quality is not hard to come if you look hard enough. Now I dont knock the knives you posted I can and have made my own that in my opinion are as good as those.
Still a good hawk is a great tool in my kit everytime.
There is no greater solitude than that of the Tracker in the forest, unless perhaps it's that of the wolf in the wilderness.

I can't really vote in any of these polls. I just don't have experience with too many of the knives listed. I do have the RAT 5 in this category ($90 gun show purchase), but too many that I have no experience with.

I love the Rat-7 and got mine <100 a year or two ago... D2 steel, the grip is awesome and good balance.

The only one I actually own is the F1 but I like the looks and feel of the RAT 5 (handled one of my buddies'). I am saving for a purchase of one to add to my collection. I think it will replace my becker 7(camillus model) as my main camp user.

I just picked up the RAT 7 and put it through it's paces this past week-end. I have to tell you I was impressed. I split several pieces of wood with it and a baton and it worked like a champ. It's much too big for small work. My Mora 780 out shines it there but for the bigger stuff, the RAT 7 is a good tool.
