Default A newbie with some experiance

I am an Eagle Scout with hundreds of days and nights undermy belt in the great outdoors. I have been a scouter for 12 years. I like the survival info here and the good tips for preparing your home for survival in place. I'm intrested in the bug out stuff due to where would you bug out too?
The spot you end up will probably be owned by someone who will run you off or worse. To bug out are you escaping to a place you already own? You see I am a noobie I don't know the answer to these worldly questions.

I also know alot of survival wood craft but know it takes time to get comfortable and you may not have time to do this. Thee are too many variables it's almost too much.

    Welcome,

As to where are you to bug out to.... where do you camp? Is there a strecth of woods that you are comfortable in, with good water, shelter, edibles? Even then the shelter you build should be mroe of an evasion shelter (blending into your enviroment) as not to advertise your presense. Caches come into play as well. Just some things to ponder.
    I know what hunts you.

    Hi, welcome aboard.
There is no greater solitude than that of the Tracker in the forest, unless perhaps it's that of the wolf in the wilderness.
