Rain. Rain. And more rain. Temps are now in the high 60's. Yesterday was about the same, but it warmed up a bit in late afternoon. Everyone up here is asking "When's summer coming?"

Last two days it's been up to 100. Working on blowers and compressors gets real hot in the containers.

Thurs. called it quits before pulling down about 300' of silt fence as I was starting to get heat cramps.

Fri., LOL, I called it quits around 1330. Could not get rid of the dizzies. Heat is kicking my butt this year, need to get use to it. Fast.

I will never get used to the heat. I can put on enough clothes to get warm but I can't take off enough to get cool. Even the thong gets.......never mind.

Cleaned the neighbors swimming pool last night (any excuse to cool off right?). I've got a small hot tub on the porch for those sore joints and muscles. Cleaned it out this morning - refilling it now. I won't turn the heater on (unless I really mess up my back) until December. At the end of a hot day - dump about 10 pounds of ice in it, turn on the jets - ahhhhhhh.

I will be setting up our above ground today moving it from the old house to the new! At least there is relief when it is all done!

It's close to 100 here. No breeze and definitely no rain in sight. It's going to be a long hot summer.

BTW Nell has the grandbaby doing?

Time for time and the temp from the temp tower. It's 83 degrees at 10 minutes before the big boss hour of 4 in the afternoon here with Rocking Rick in the afternoon. Right now let's go way back, way back in the wax and stacks of gold with the Beatles and "Let It Be".

Started to take a walk yesterday, to the local hiking trail with my dog. When I stepped outside, it felt like walking in a mouth, and I could feel the heat from the asphalt through my sneakers.

That was the universe's way of telling me to wait until the sun goes down. I listened.

One of the few complaints I have about this far south is that there's about a three week period in March or April where the weather is absolutely wonderful, and maybe a week or two in October. Other than that, it's ridiculously hot or raining. Or it's February.

Then again, I could just be a huge sissy. Which is likely true. I'm working on it, guys.
