Default Wolf pack, Bear clan and others

I am taking a few moments to let everyone know that Wife and I are doing well. My guiding season is in full swing so I am very busy. I leave early in the morning and get home very late if I come home. Praise God I haven't been hurt, not even a close call.

Every morning when I meet my clients my wonder is renewed. These folks and I mean every one show up with nothing in the way of survival stuff. They are relying on me solely to keep them alive on these trips. Whats even more amazing. They follow me blindly into the bush with no clue of the fine line they are walking (or riding as it is).

There are some who might think that being a wilderness guide would be a hoot. It is one of the most stressful jobs I have ever done. Yet every evening when everyone returns unharmed. When the goodbyes are said and the clients are all smiles and filled with stories to tell. I breath a sigh, I begin to relax and remind myself if it were not for the wilderness guide many people would never get to experience the awesome beauty of the "Wild" wilderness.

Yesterday my clients heard the lonesome eerie call of a loon. They said it was something they would never forget.

Hey, Kevin! What Hopeak said. It's great to hear from you!

That is some wonderful news. Give your wife a hug for us. I hope that long road is well behind her. This year, stay behind the ATVs instead of in front of them.
