It is delivered from the back of a C-130.

Yes, it is GPS guided. The bombs that have been tested weighed in at around 22,000 pounds whith over 18,000 pounds of that being high explosive. There is a larger version - not sure if it's been tested though. Supposedly the Russions tested their version of it and claime it was more powerful (4X?) but not sure if that has been verified.

So the bomb it's self must have some propulsion or how does it adjust for wind drift if dropped from 40,000 feet.

My guess is by the time you add in the delivery charge, plus "Night" delivery fee, And they most likely don't take visa card, Poop. To late to order for Fathers Day anyhow, double poop. Thanks for the information.

If you use it, there won't be any moose meat left. You do know that, right? If fact, there won't be ANY moose ANYTHING left for quite a radius.

It's Not political, but there is this landscaping project I would like to encourage, and it is out of range. What was the movie, at the end of which, Slim Pickins is rideing a bomb as it leaves the bomb bay doors....Yelling, Wahooo Wahooo......?

Kind of what I was looking for, I have this annoying neighbor a few thousands miles west of here, a wee bit east of China, and just north of South Korea. It is not political, I just don't like the S.O.B

The Fuel Air bomb's destructive power is often compared to that of a Small Nuclear explosion. The bomb is delivered like any other normal smart munition....at a predetermined height a small explosion distributes the fuel mixture throughout the area and then seconds later is ignited. Very nasty explosion.

Here is a picture of the older version Blu 82. I saw the aftermath of its use in Cambodia after the Mayguez was recovered. Again I stress, please do not ride it
