All the equipment in the world won't help us survive if we can't maintain or fix it. Right? Having this philosophy, I have tool/maintenance kits in each vehicle, in my work shop (duuh....of course, that's the purpose of a shop, right?) in my garage, office, etc. I also like to have "dedicated" kits as well.
This morning, the Honey and I bought a John Deere mower/tractor. Of course, I bought some (actually alot of) extra stuff with it. Oil, belts, filters, ignition key, mini grease gun, extra headlights, a few wrenches.......
I usually try to keep a specialized tool kit for the major products I purchase - I like to keep everything together in a "dedicated" kit. I have one for my snowblower (lots of extra shear pins) my generators, my furnace, my pumps....
Question. Does anyone else do this, or was there any truth to the "suggestion" this morning that I may be a bit anal?![]()

)Your tendency towards multiple kits is not a bad thing (women never seem to agree on that point). I don't know many men that would say they have too many tools
