Thread: Mouse and Rat Traps

    Default Mouse and Rat Traps

I have a couple of Rat Traps. I have taken out with me from time to time. Some peanut butter and screw it to a tree and wait. I drilled a hole in it so I can nail or screw it to a likely tree. Even when used they continue to take game. The smell of blood on them does not deter from their effectiveness.

I have taken ground squirrels and the odd squirrel with them. I have used the Mouse Traps to set off snares and other traps. They work great with a trip wire.

As a survival tool they have a use. Not heavy and work when other snares fail to work.

Caution: Rat Traps will break fingers, if you fail to think before you use them.
