But, this in my opinion is just a very small thing. If they want info. on you, it's all over the place. Many who fear the direction of the US right now are out purchasing military style weapons, from dealers. Duhhhh..........like the paperwork you fill out just goes into the trash when you leave.

Ammo, I see sales on bulk ammo all over the place. Duhhhh.........when you purchase it, there is a paper trail. I also betcha you use your credit card to buy it. Duhhhhhh.......

Now I'm not much of a gun man. Yes I have my hunting weapons, deer rifle and a shotgun for ducks. Never saw much use for the military style weapons, but I do have a file with the GBI for a CCW permit. Duhhhhh..........more info on me.

Many fear that the gov. will be knocking on your door to collect your guns. That is what the NRA says and may very well be the situation. The problem, you are either going to give up the guns or end up dead.

Now in my younger days, BF, before family, oh hell yeh, bring it on. Nowdays, with a wife and two little ones....it's not about me, but their safety. They can take all the guns, but they can not take the knowledge.

The knowledge of how to survive.

This is a scary time, the future is wide open. There are many who want to ban guns, all guns, hunting and feel that "they" are better skilled at how to live "my" life. They want to "give me fish, rather than allow me to fish".

The big problem is, as some of those articles presented, many, many Americans are not buying what the US Gov. is serving. They can try force and it will be another Civil War. But this time, there are countries and powers who will at the first sign of our weakness, conquer and destroy us.
And what will you do after you hand over your guns and then they want you to hand over your kids so they can put them in a "state" school with no visitation rights for you? Can you say "Hitler Youth"? Will it happen? I don't know but "An armed populace are citizens and a disarmed populace are subjects"
    I know what hunts you.

Hopefully it will never get that far.

If the doorbell rings and I open the door and the Gov. is brandishing firearms asking for mine, one wrong move and me, my wife and kids are dead.

Now what good would that do? I can't do a da mn thing if I'm dead. As far as the Hitler youth, sorry, but our current government does not have a leader that is that good of a salesman.

If you have read anything about Hitler and how he gained control, how long it took, and the events that accured to enable him to do his evil, then you would realize that we are too early in this to be at that point.

Instead of going out and purchasing guns and ammo that have paper trails, it is time to hit the poles when it's time.

I do understand your fear though. I lived in Laguna, Mission Viejo, and San Clemente for years. Cal. is all screwed up.

Just a note: The Hitler Youth group was voluntary from 1922 to 1939. In 1939 it became mandatory, even if the parents did not agree. In the beginning, I believe that the age of indoctrination was 14 or 15. Later they started younger age groups, but again, it was voluntary for 17 years.

I could be wrong as I'm not an expert in this area.

Hmmm, so if I post something nonsensical like: allah bumble overthrow bee revolt swimming arms pool Ron Paul elementary action school akbar brown praise cow bomb movie c4 teacher arms cache bling feds rap aks elvis shipment lincoln washington execute bike railroad gas dirt fertilizer building red chess Obama... or even worse... the Bumble Bee in the swimming pool called Ron Paul about the elementary school. The brown cow in the movie, named Teacher, has bling and rap. Elvis will see Lincoln in Washington. The bike fell in the dirt. The chess game won against Obama... that might trigger some scrutiny?

Oh well... so what else is new... maybe "they" should spend more time trying to catch the "real" bad guys.

To me(my own opinion) posting certain words or phrases on any forum, not just a survival forum, would be like one of those old westerns where the bad guys have the good guys surrounded in a little cabin. Then just when the bad guys start running out of lead, the good guys start thowing all their extra ammo out the window to em.
    Well why not?

OK I'm going to step out on a limb here. There is a compelling state interest in locking up people inclined to domestic terrorism. The state has a really ingenious system for defining these people, its called the law. There is a huge difference between advocating whatever political position you want and and doing that and robbing armored cars, manufacturing illegal machine guns, bombs etc.

The law as it stands defines a very narrow segment of the population as lawbreakers. Law enforcement is staffed (many say understaffed) to the level it needs to be to contain that narrow segment of the population. If the government moves the line of the law to make currently legal activity illegal then the net of the law will scoop up an ever increasing segment of society.

For instance. Running around naked in public is against the law. Very few people run around naked in public and when they do the law chases them down and locks them up. If the law suddenly was passed that outlawed jeans the law would be outnumbered by the vast majority of the populace that wears jeans every day and has no intention of ever stopping. Instead of rational thought some people start to fret... I've posted photos of myself online wearing jeans... I'd better bury my jeans... I'd better panic buy some Wranglers...the jack-booted fashion police are going to kick in my doors because everyone knows I wear jeans!

The "List" you are on is populated by many millions of other Americans and outnumbers the total population of Federal law enforcement by orders of magnitude. When you start to advocate the killing of whoever, the making of bombs, robbing banks and armored cars etc, you move off of that list and onto a very narrowly defined list of domestic terrorists and I hope they put you down like a rabid dog. Not me, only bring laughs and pity. Never get caught by LEOs rolling on the ground laughing.
.I did get my CCW renewed yesterday so I moved back up the list. I just handed my old one to the sheriff's secretary and went "visiting" folks I knew in the courthouse for an hour or so. Got my pic taken, paid fee and went out the door. I could have been finished in 15min if I hadn't visited folks. All that was checked was if I had been humiliated by the law or caught any social diseases in the last 5 yrs. I do remember an FBI check years ago, even talked to old girlfriends in KY and all people that ever knew me. This was back when Hoover ran the ship. Had another couple of checks until I retired that I know about. I should be in the good guys file now or the too old to do damage one but I can say I was definitely checked or lots of people I knew were lying so I keep what I know between my ears and I own a handgun, rifle & shotgun which is below average for this area, the CCW & hunting makes that obvious. I ain't dumb enough to shoot off my mouth, yet.

True, but if you can get Jillian Michaels then I'm a citizen for life.

It is good that I live in Scandinavia. Only really big thing to worry about is Russia...
Survival is not about surviving AGAINST the nature. It's about surviving WITH the nature.

You can't go in to nature, nature is not a place or an object. Nature just is. You are living it.

They seem to have bigger things to worry about than Finland. It's just scandal after scandal after scandal.
