I've never really had a run in with anything other than coyote's or wild dogs, getting by them is pretty easy. Army there were gators in florida and big a** spiders and snakes in Panama but their pretty easy to handle too.
There is no greater solitude than that of the Tracker in the forest, unless perhaps it's that of the wolf in the wilderness.

Default my scariest time in the wilderness

I was with FVR when he got eaten by the bears, I actually had to give him a little kick to get him out of the tree, but anyhoo....it was horrible to watch (while I tiptoed away as they gorged on him, his screams still haunt me)
some fella confronted me the other day and asked "What's your problem?" So I told him, "I don't have a problem I am a problem"

I'd been thinking of throwing my son to coyote's if they attacked this weekend and I'd run off screaming "run away! runaway!" but they never showed

I can only stare with teary-eyed awestruck respect, sir.
