sauteed them all up with some onion and garlic. Into the freezer for future use.
This is the latest in the year I've found edible shrooms.

Nice! At first I thought you meant these...........

..........of course, samples of either or both will be gladly accepted by Q.C. :innocent:
Gross! Oysters are filter feeders. Can you say, virus?
Nice score RWC!
I meant that crap you posted not the mushrooms.
With lemon, Tobasco, horseradish, and cocktail sauce? Crap????
And you can cook 'em, ya' know. :sneaky2:

If you can't pronounce what they have then it just HAS to be bad for you.

"Several Twinkie ingredients are manufactured in China and India. Despite the recall by Mississauga's Menu Foods and other companies of pet food containing gluten from China tainted with melamine, Ettlinger is confident that the global trade in food additives is safe. Still, he has mixed feelings."

Ahem - if I may. The only thing that goes on BBQ after it is properly cooked are your lips.
I like oysters just fine. Rick was the squeamish one.
Yep. He was starting to get concerned about where he could post.
I love wild mushrooms. I love oysters too. I've eaten them since I was a teenager without s single health problem. My favorite way to eay them off the half shell is with a little freash made pico d'gallo.
I like oysters, but don't much care for oysters. Especially raw ones.
i love oysters, and oyster mushrooms. i always cook both.
the oyster mushrooms are good for composting too. they break down woody material that can otherwise take years to decompose.
I went to New Orleans last week and stopped by Acme oyster house in the french quarter and had some of the best oysters that I have ever tasted. Started off with an oyster shooter, then on to the chargrilled oyster topped with seasoned butter, garlic and romano cheese, then on the the raw ones. If you like oysters this is the place to get them.
poor photos but great oysters.

Patooooooey!
Gesundheit.
Thank you. I don't eat oysters, either.
That was just sacrilegious! You could get banned trouncing bacon like that. Pigs aren't filter feeders, silly. They don't have filters.
Oysters put lead in your pencil
Some real smart dead guy once said that it was a brave man who first ate an oyster. I extend that to clams and mussels too. I used to pop them on a hot charcoal grill until they opened up, then put all the fixin's on them... butter, horseradish, cocktail sauce.
Mussels too... gather them off the rocks on the coast in Oregon. Really clear, cold water, and let them do the cleanout thing. Clams too... dig them from nice sandy flats at low tide and do the cleaning thing. Put them in a washtub with some water and crushed crackers for a while to let them clean out.
Keep in mind that shrimp and crabs eat about the same things as oysters, clams, and mussels. Most everything in the sea eventually eats the same stuff.
At least we don't eat deer poo and drink pee like Bear Grylls... that was just too much.
Having grown up in louisiana we used to buy oysters by the sack and shuck em every thanksgiving for my grandmother to make oyster dressing (bought a sack to make up for those we ate while shuckin' em. :-D And I have yet to eat a shroom I didn't like, (yes I tried those too but thats a diff trip. I was a young fool.) but I don't know enough yet to go shroomin safely unless it is in a cow pasture.
D.O.M.
I hope you aren't implying that mushrooms found in a cow pasture are safe to eat.
No...only that those are the only ones I know well enough to recognise. My bad. LOL

Ive been eating shellfish from the coast for over 4 decades, which is 45 minutes from our place. Ive never been sick once. We do cook them every time.
We had a 5 gallon bucket full just last month.

I'm very interested in TPE sex dolls. Unfortunately, I've never had the chance to see or touch them in person, so I've been spending my time online lately.
