Only ever been without power for a day, but when you want something hot to eat and drink, you're kind of motivated into including power outages into your preps.
There are far more "home" problems that can and will occur than those that will force you to bug out. Knowing that, it's prudent to begin planning for the home front. Identify those threats that are most likely to less likely to impact you and then begin preparing for the most likely first.
Great point! A lot of folks tend to believe that the Survival situation they'll be faced with will be similar to what Grylls & Stroud face in their TV series. NOT SO! More than likely it will be sopmething domestic in your region; tornado, flood, ice storm, etc. You won't "bug-out", you'll "bug-in." :cool2:Quote:
