Hey, this is a spinoff from my previous post about the states. Here are the top 25 most dangerous cities in the US.

Why makes Florida so bad?

Illegal aliens and drug trafficking from the ports,for starters.

Crimenals head south when they get here ther is nowhere left to go Right now I am real close to Orlando and it is so bad a cop got shot in his car at an ATM a few months ago, they found him with his gun in hos lap. Shootings around her every day. An the Illeagle alien population seems to double every week.

I don't believe it's the illegal aliens, cal. has 4 times the population of illegals as florida. It's the legal aliens I'm talking about the "wet foot dry foot policy the U.S. has with Cuba. all cubans have to do is step on U.S. soil and they are granted legal residence.
Also, and I do know this 1st hand they are granted help from the U.S. in the amount of 400.00 per month welfare,food stamps and medicare yes free heath insurance. Also the U.S. will not deport them no matter what crime they commit.

By the way my parents came over from Cuba legally in 1958.

One of the problems that we're experiencing is an influx of gangs into the state. As Nell said, drug trafficking has alot to do with it. Just watched a special on MS 13. They're even getting into some of the rural areas.

Isnt the MS 13 restricted to just Mexicans?

Actually MS 13 is a Central American gang (Salvadoran). It is in just about every state in the US. I don't know what the requirements are or if it is just limited to Salvadorans. The Mexican Mafia (Sur 13) is just as bad, and just as prolific.

I am surprised that New Orleans, Louisiana is not on that list. Geesh, I avoid New Orleans at all costs, guess I should print that list to make sure I never go to or through any of those places for any reason. Guess that's why I don't travel much. God, I love this little cajun town I live in!!

I don't blame you my wife got free tickets to Wrestelemania on the floor for tommow night and I won't be going I will not go to Orlando with out 3 guns and that dosen't seem to help. Ther gangs are not to big there but the drugs are and I don't think I will get into the reasons I know for the high crime. And yes the illeagle here are a VERY big part of the crime problem in this town, it is mostly Mexicans to be exact I lived in So Fl a long time and yes the cubans were an issue but not in this part of the state I will not get political, but I see it first hand every day and have had to deal with it, my wife can not even go to the Walgreens alon on the end of our street. I broke up an attemted rape in back of my house a few months ago and the police didn't even want to be bothered talking to me other asking me about my gun. Gotta stop now getting carried away.....

Really how can you call yourself the happiest place on Eatrh and not sell alcohol? That there is just wrong. There are three kinds of people there tourists, employees and robbers

I don't guess there's too many cities I haven't been in or was too concerned about being in. There's certainly places in each of them I wouldn't go but overall, most places are all the same. Big city, little town. Doesn't matter much. I know some bars in some little burgs that I wouldn't care to walk into without a pitbull and a bazooka or at least be a local. Outsiders wouldn't last very long. They'd only tell you to leave once. Then you had better grow wings.

As for the drug culture that's just everywhere. Sometimes I think small town America has more meth labs that the cities.

Rural america has the most, or at least the most productive. Easier to hide the smell of that crap cooking when there isn't anyone around for miles.

I remember walking into a bar in the middle of New York state. Literally a one stop light town. Harley parked at the end of the bar. We had just left the office and walked in for a quick drink. We had on suits and they didn't. I think the only thing we said was, "No problem. Have a good day." We didn't wait for the second invite to leave.

I also hosted an international group that landed in Chicago. Some from the Far East, some from South America. We had two guys from Malaysia. One spoke really good English but the second one spoke none. The second guy was always looking over his shoulder and finally, on the second day, I asked the first guy why his buddy was so jumpy. They yammered a bit and the first guy said, "He wants to know where the police are." I said they're around do you need one? In the best English you have ever heard, the second guys says, "Al Capone. Shoot 'em up. Bang bang."

I felt bad laughing but I couldn't help it. It was pretty funny. He was scared to death he was going to be killed by wise guys.

and aren't an awful lot of the employees wearing giant cartoon character masks? How do you tell them from the robbers? Who wants to take the blame for shooting Goofy? even if it is self-defence...Donald Duck sure, but Goofy? come on people.

I was thinking of the massive swell of humanity staggering around with nausea and headaches from the hundred degree heat and the combined sugar/adrenaline rush. That's too scary for this ol' bushrat.

That was the first thing my wife told me about when she got home it was all over the news here too. To mant people for me and no way was I going to that Hellhole. MS-13 is not restricted to just hispanics, they have members from all races. Meth is most produced in suburbia and country areas, the stench alone his horrible. I have been on numerous meth lab sites here in Cincy and they are bad juju to walk into and serving warrants on the makers is extremely hazardous. Nearly all the chemicals used in the production of meth are caustic, corrosive, or flammable. Severe injuries due to chemical exposure are not uncommon for meth cooks, and many die each year (big loss there), injuries range from burns, blisters, boils, to scabbing that leaks a yellowish puss. There are over 150 processes for making meth. A real shame that is what our country has come to and getting worse.

I was stuck in #7 back around 1981 for 2 months and I can tell you that it was miserable. Everywhere you went it was nothing but "shop talk". I have been in some real sh!tholes, but that one ranks up around the top.

Well, telling them's one thing, but I've found other options that work a lot better, asking...(pleading), or asking (begging) or asking (bribery with flowers, diamonds, chocolate,...real estate)

Funny beerrunner,I know a man who is very GOOD at telling me where to go,do I listen.....LMAO!!!!!!!!!!! Ask me tomorrow:D (that is a 2 way street!!!!!!!)

She puts up with me and let's me do pretty much what I want to, She was well escourted and the tickets were over$500 which her boss paid for. I would have rather had the cash but WTH and anyway MY bday is in 2 weeks and there is still the lever action shotgun FVR posted that I want.. But seriously I would never tell her what to do I make my thoughyts known and let her make her own decisions.
