Yup, Coffee, and it's all your fault. I even had to have a perking pot sent over. It was nice to finally get out and sleep under canvassy stuff for a couple of nights.Quote:

I was pretty proud of myself. I managed to pack everything for 4 days camping (including food) into a medium ALICE pack. The only hanger-on was my sleeping bag.

Looks like a great time. There's nothing like perked coffee as well except for a spot of tea now and then. I think there is enough "good stuff" in my junk pile to make a firepit thingie like yours.

Looks great, even though I feel about coffee the same way Winnie feels about iced sweet tea! Winnie, do you know how to make "cowboy coffee?"....:cowboy:

Cowboy Coffee according to the recipe I was given:
1. Boil 1 quart of water
2. Pour in 1 pound of coffee and let steep
3. Take your bandana and use it to blow your nose
4. Filter the coffee through your bandana into your boot
5. Drink coffee from your boot

Yup. Wild camping is illegal in UK. As we are such a small Island nation with just a handful of National Parks, there are only a few campsites such as you have in your National Parks. Most camping is done on private sites.
