finally meeting

Quite a while ago I posted about re connecting with the daughter my first wife and I put up for adoption 22 years ago. Well we've been talking on the phone for a couple of years sharing pics and such............ Well she's coming today for a visit. Her and her boyfriend are coming by on their way back to indy from vacation. They're going to spend the night with us tonight. I have to admit Barbara and I are excited to finlly meet her in person, BUT.................... I gotta admit I'm a bit terified as well................... Wish me luck.

Well Laura and jason got here about 4p.m. we visited for a while and went to eat. Came home and been chillin out ever since. We connected immediately, feels like we've known each other all our lives. Right now we're all laughing and having fun watching T.V.

I'm glad it is going smoothly. My older sister gave a baby up for adoption 20 some years ago. We've looked for her but have yet to find her.

they're still here but wanted to give an update. We went down to the LST 325 today for the tour. Back home and getting ready to go to a cajun resteraunt after while then back here. They'll head back to indy tommorow morning. Everything is still going great.

No her biological mother died several years ago. But she wouldn't have contacted her anyway. Joan ( her mother) wanted to have an abortion and I blocked it. She was also a big druggy ( I found out after we married and part of why I divorced her. Laura's adoptive parents was made aware of that during adoption and had let Laura know that. However our visit was great they stayed until about 10 yesterday morning and we are already talking about our next visit. Maybe a camping trip this fall. Wish we could all get off for jamboree this year so my family here could meet her. My wife now Barbara Loves her and had a great time with her while she was here and misses her alreay and said she wished they could have stayed longer.

It's amazing some of the games life plays with us. I'm glad all of you had a good time and hope it continues. Does she have any kids, grandpa?
