Willing to leave it all behind.
i am 21 years old... Every piece of me just wants to leave "modern society" behind. i want to go live in the wilderness permanently ready or not.
I dont want any part of this.
madness. Tomorrow i am going to a meeting for a job but i dont want to... job and money is meaningless to me. Sure you will have to work to survive out in the
wilderness. i will take the wilderness over "modern society" anyday. i dont have any wilderness survival skills and i know that it greatly reduces my chance to
survive out there. If there was any people that seriously wants to do the same as me in norway, i would welcome them in open arms. i long for this more
and more every day.. Any advice?

Well, since you mentioned it...
I have no idea what the wilderness is like over there where you live, but what you're wanting is NOT the answer. Furthermore, you're not going to like the answers you will get here or are already getting...you probably already noticed that as well. You say you HATE society, yet here you are in the middle of an "e-type-society." You say you can't stand people yet you already want others to "go with you." You say that you don't have any wilderness skills yet somehow you seem to think that the wilderness is the answer, why? What you're saying makes no sense to me. I, too, dislike a lot of what I see around me, yet I am in control of my life, not those people. I just enjoyed 4 days of fishing out in the woods and lakes, yet now I'm back home with my family. Both my wife and son are like me, we're sort of semi-hermits, if there is such a thing. However we also have other family members that we need to interact with. There is an old saying: "No man is an island unto himself." Communities have kept people surviving and thriving over the centuries, and it will always be so. Look into yourself to see what you want and need. If you hate society then you are "anti-social" and that is a problem that the wilderness will never solve for you as the problem is inside you, not with society. Two guys in Canada, with more skills than you have, tried if, here's their story, you'll have to dig into the thread a ways to find it: http://www.wilderness-survival.net/f...rness+numpties :cool2:
