photos how to post them ? on a new thread its the manage attachments
I'm still trying to figure it out. When I hit the manage attachments button I get a page with an upper and lower section. The upper sectionshows some of the pictures on my computer. The lower section is empty. Drag the pictures that you want to appear in your post to the lower box then click "Done". The proplem I'm having is that not all of my albums appear to be accessible. I'll copy this post and ask in the Forum Upgrade section.
Here are a few just to test the function.
I never figured out how to attach a photo...always had to upload to photobucket and copy paste the code. Interested in learning though!
2D, in the Quick Reply box there is a like at the top of that box to insert an image or video. If you click on "Insert an Image" you will have the option to choose from your computer or the internet.

Yep....that's what I did. Then you select the picture, click on it, then click upload, then insert, blah, blah, blah.....
Yes that is right. If it is not in your albums or something you have already posted in a thread, you have to add it to your albums, or add to your selection (With this newer account, I had only posted 2 pictures before the upgrade, so that was all that was available to me, until I added or used my photobucket pics)
Follow the steps below to post from your computer.

Hey, Crash. Try it now and tell me what you see.
Yep - just figured out how to copy what I was seeing.

Muhahahahahahahahaha. It's a secret....Okay, okay.
Go into your CP (control panel). On the right side is a box called Browsing Options. At the bottom is an option Message Editor Interface. If you have yours selected to "Show Standard Editor Toolbar" then you will NOT get the screen I posted above. Change that to "Show Enhanced (WYSIWYG) Editor Toolbar", save your settings and you should be just fine. Poco, I just changed yours so try it.
Nope still the same as my previous screenshot.....
Okay, now try. I might have changed the wrong Poco. Yeah, I know, it's hard to believe there are more than one but (shrug).
However when I click this......

Still the same as my first screenshot.
Those are out of your forum album. That's all you get to choose from there.

Hey.....look at that! All it needed was the thingy changed, in the whatchamacallit!
Well, I'm at a loss. What you are seeing is the Basic Uploader and that make sense if your profile is set to Standard Editor Toolbar. But now that you've been moved to WYSIWYG you should see the larger window.
Crash, you see the larger window, correct? I changed the same thing on you that I changed on him.
I wonder if you have to log out and back in to take effect? Read your messages first. If you log out the unread threads will be marked as read but try it when you can and see if it works.
Did you change to WYSIWYG, 2D?
Poco should see it too. I'm not sure why he isn't.
I guess it's working for me. Do you have to change each members settings individually, or can you do a global change?

That I don't know. Each member can change their own, however. It's part of the profile setting.
For those who need to know...I went to the top of the page, clicked on "forum actions" then clicked on "general settings". Scroll down to Miscellaneous options, and that's where I changed to the WYS thingy.
Okay I'm gonna' log out and then back in to see if that changes anything.
Nope it is still all the same as before. My PC Is less than a year old and is running Windows 7 so it shouldn't be anything about that as for compatibility or whatever.
Poco, I was having the same problem, but I did what 2D mentioned, you need to log off the internet then get back on, at least that is what finally cleared it up for me.
Good job, 2D. Looks like you can go that way, too.
