DOn't have little ones of my own to take this year,the grandkids will make a stop by for candy,and I have loaded up on candy for the neighborhood kids,LOL
AND I am taking about 11 of those kids around trick or treating to a few houses that are too far for them to walk to.
Other than my grandkids,there will be no other "English" kids stop by out here,and the kids I am taking?? Yea,they are Amish!
We have NO children in this town, the youngest adult is 24 y/o.

The first batch of kids just left here! There was a football player,a clown, a teenager that was way to cool for dressing up but just fine with taking free candy and one great looking mother!! I'm looking forward to the next group.

Parents spend all year teaching their kids not to talk to or take candy from strangers, But on Halloween, They allow them to go to strangers homes and beg for it ??? LOL ,, I dont get it !

Might not fit in the halloween thread, but today is our anniversary. On the actual holiday, Hallows.
For us, hallows is a special day, and in ancient times was a celebration of the dead, held at summers end. The celebration of the end of the growing season and rememberance of those before us who touched our lives.
Let us never forget. Especially those who laid down their lives to defend our freedoms. If you do nothing else on hallows, at least say a prayer thanking those.
We chose hallows for our wedding because it was the death of our seperate lives and the beginning of a singular, life together. It is our one big celebration each year.
Well congratulations you romantic devil you!!!! May you have many more years and both of you live a happy, long and healthy life!
