pig sticker/ zombie slayer
Well, while I am waiting on some materials for the knives I have on order, I decided to heat treat and test a big knife I have been working on a little at a time. Its about 14-15" long and made out of 1/4" thick 1084 steel. I am waitinf on some mesquite scales big enough for the large handle. It still has the scale from the heat treat on it. I have whacked a few 2x4 with it and the edge holds up good. It is not really a chopper since there is no weight at the tip, but does bite into the wood. Hogs and zombies might have nightmares about this one.:scared: I will clean up the blade and add the scales when time permits. Whatcha think?
