home of the cowboys for real
Previously I sent to forum some photos from Maejo University with signs saying Home of the Cowboys. There are many cowboy signs, statues and referneces here. maejo University soccer team is called Cowboys and there is a bus stop made up to look like old west stagecoach depot.
This week 2 people shot and killed at same traffic light right near here. In fist case, German tourist riding a motorbike got cut off by car driven by Thai guy. German guy gave him the finger, and the Thai guy gets out of passenger seat and walks over to german guy and kicks him off motorbike and walks back to car. German guy gets up and throws helmet at car. He turns around and picks up helmet and Thai guy shoots him twice in the back with 9mm and kills him. Cops catch killer and turns out to be 39 year old ex convict.
Next day at same light hilltribe guy gets gunned down by guy on back of motorbike in what appears to be a planned hit. No one caught yet for this one.
I think they are getting carried away with the cowboy stuff.
