prayers needed
Got a call about an hour ago from one of my sisters informing me that my youngest brother has been in an accident on his way back to his Marine base in California.
His injuries at this time are known to be a broken neck and back,as well as blood on his brain.
He did regain conciousness while in the trauma er and was placed into a drug induced coma, and is undergoing an MRI to determine any other injuries at this time.
The kid needs some big prayers to get through this.Last I heard was he is not expected to survive. Prayer changes things.

Sorry to hear that Nell. Will be praying for him.

Thanks guys, from my understanding so far,he is going to need every prayer he can get.
He is at the Trauma Intensive Care Unit at University Medical Center in Las Vegas,I hear they are very good, but their intial assessment of his condition was not good.
I will be calling there shortly to see if there has been any new developments .

I am not a former Marine, but having been around them, have always been impressed by their sense of duty. My prayers are with the young warrior, and offer the attached http://www.usmc1.us/marine_corps_prayer.html

Nell you are totally right when you say prayer changes things. I've seen God heal people (including me) through prayer before, and you can be sure I'll be praying for your brother.
-
Thank you everyone,Pal,that was awesome.
-
Nell, best of luck for your brother. I am saying prayers for him.

Having my father just pass away, i know exactly what you're going through. Except my father didn't even make it to the hospital, he just... was there one minute gone the next. He died in my arms... i understand. My prayers are with you, your family and your brother. Medical science has only come so far, but prayers potential is unlimited.
