newbie

hello everyone.
cabingal4 here cause i have helped hubby build 4 cabins.
we have been trying to get a cabin on the right land for years.
in fact,since the 70's back to the land movement.
one bit of land had no easy water.
another land had an HOA.
another and our final is land we love.
its flat,its got high water table.its cheap.
full of trees.finally found our retirement land.
so we are working on retirement and it will be here sooner than we can imagen.

thanks for the welcome everyone.
me and the mister are fast building our second cabin right(this time,on this land.) beside each other-later to be connnected with
a deck.
then he and i will build his shop.cant wait for that day to arrive.
to have his shop up and all his building tools right there for us always ready for use.that will be a great day.
a greater day than this is the day we build a building to hold my canning jars,foods and canners.
all in good time.
i want to hunt and tan hides.
we want to plant our meadow in sea berries,blueberries,rhubarb and lots of veggies.
i think there is anywhere from a 12 day growing season to 30 day growing season where we are settling for retirement.
so on our land we need a green house.
so we have lots of dreams,lots to build,lots to do.lots of fun to be had with lots of learning along the way.
