Questions: What are some tools/weapons that I can hand craft out in the woods with only a 2 in. pocket knife?
How much time should it take and what materials would I need for it?
I would like it if I got some really great answers?

Since we know nothing about you it's a little hard to give you credible answers. Are you 5 or 50? Do you have any experience in bushcraft or is this just a dream question? The overall question tends to give the impression you are young and inexperienced. There is nothing wrong with either. However, if we got some really great information about you then we could give you some really great answers.
Also the type of "woods" in which you exist, jungle, eastern U.S., Rocky Mountains...
I have a log of great ideas, but as has been stated it would be helpful to know what is in your area (general location). The reason I say that is that if all you have available is cherry trees and large chunks of granite, my answers would be different that having a wide variety of hard and soft woods.
Hunter63, saying Hey and Welcome.
You asked for some great answers....but that was not a great question.
and as we all know, many of the worlds problems come from attempts to answer questions that have not been asked and solve problems that do not exist!
To do that we would have to declare ourselves politicians and not woodsmen.
Well, think about this...it is so easy, even a cave man can do it. Actually it isn't that easy. You have to spend the time to develop the skills, just like everything else. You can make all your survival with naturally occurring material. It has been proven for millennia. You don't need a pocket knife. Metal knives are a recent invention. But, you can make those as well.....after all, someone made it. What you really should do is change your perspective. Everything that has been made...can be, obviously. Study how it is made now, study how it was made back in the day. Then learn how to make it.
Spear, pungi stick, bow and arrow, bow and drill, snare, deadfall?
spoons. forks. walking stick with spear end. throwing stick/club. figure 4 traps, bow drill , fish trap and shelters. its really up to how much imagination and time you have to spend on the project as well as personel skill level. with skill a very nice bow and arrows could be made or a ivory soap carving. . youre question asks peaple to guess at youre skill lev. and location.i decided just to go with what i can do with a small blade. I would prefer a nice work shop with power tools but there a pain trying to fit into a backpack :) dont let the earlier answers annoy you.You can allways rephrase the question for better responses:) have fun, I almost forgot i am also pretty good at carving up my fingers :))
I can make small stones from big ones....had a lot of practice :)
My guess is the OP didn't like the answers, and won't be back.
Random woods?
....close to Middle Earth......on the way to Mordor...You know?
Ok, if any af you would for some odd reason be stranded in the woods with any tool and there is no way you would get back to civilizationfor at least 2-6 weeks, what tools would you make from what's around you and in what order would you make them?
Where are you in this woods?
What time of year?
What kind of woods?
What do you have with you?
Why would you be there for 2 to 6 weeks?
Is there water near by?
Are there any rocks?
What kind?
How are you planning to remover your self...or wait for rescue?
A lot depend on what your needs are Think rule of threes
3 minutes without air - 3 hours without shelter
3 days without water - 3 weeks without food.
Let's say you're in alaska, late summer. You're waking up near a small lake and the only things you've got is the cloths you're wearing: trousers, shirt jacket, socks, shoes, a hat and gloves.
You are alowed to make use of your clothes.
If you don't have a way to build a fire and a good knife they won't let you out of the house in Alaska!
You see, the point of this forum, and most outdoor sites, is to insure that situation never happens.
I'm sitting here at the computer with more gear in my pockets than that!
and I'm just in Kentucky.
And that's why I am saying "for some odd reason" you've lost all your gear...
Your number 1 priority is to survive the first night so I'd guess you'll need a fire first of all!
I didn't ask that question because it will happen, but because it could happen...
What would you do if you were in this situation?
Step one....make some sort of shelter for the nite.....with what ever is around......there is vegetation around right?
Maybe you want to list what you think is around?
