Blend in...yeah, just blend in.
Should'nt you put your clothes on before you put on all that gear?
Why can't I go anywhere without people telling me to put clothes on? It's like my childhood all over again.
"Breaker, breaker one-nine, ya got yer ears on good buddy? You remember that bridge they used to have over here...."....
Here's a clip of the 1940 collapse of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge.

Note to self: "Stay off the bridges in Washington!....:crying:
Yeah, they don't have a great track history.
Maybe they should have stuck with a tried and tested design:innocent:.....

:w00t: I was not home in California at the time, but I remember my father telling about his experience driving home from San Francisco to Marin County during one of the earthquakes. He said the bridge was shaking, but the Golden Gate Bridge did not collapse. Maybe the 49ers knew a thing or two about bridge construction.
Faiaoga
I think the bridge in this latest incident went a little heavy on the trying between testings.
I once saw a commentary on how construction people in the early 20th century were perfectionists down to the laborers and that things were built to last. After that, companies looked for all the ways they could to cut corners. When all the old buildings, dams, bridges, and such wear out we're fully into the age of falling things.
Sounds like horsesh@#$.
I don't think so, Canid. Horsh@#$ sounds a great deal like a raspberry. A crashing bridge is a lot louder. Which begs the question do you know the difference between sh@#$ and Shinola?
Generally; I just forget sometimes which one polishes the other :D
Lucky they all survived....I wonder what the words used as the event started........
