Looks OK but you could make your own for lss. I have many of the same or similar items in mine as I'm sure most of us do. It's better then nothing but rather genaric.

true abt that beerrunner13 i could have made it but heck i had a hole burning in my wallet becouse my gift card was in there for gander mountain

I love that place,we have one near me. Great firearms department.

Any medical or survival kits sold in stores are WAY overpriced. I simply make my own for 1/2 the price.

Yes i own two i bought one then someone bought me one for christmas they are great little kits i keep one at the bottom of my pack the striker is brilliant go on www.tadgear.com for gear like this if i were you id buy an otter box and make a kit.

Most any items that are in the "store bought" kits never seems to live up to its hype and just dont last more than one use. Yes they are way over priced for what they are. I prefer to make my own kits with items I can REALLY trust, and I recommend that my students do the same. My E & E kit is not something I would want to have any doutes about at thetime of need.

they are a great place to shop for guns and i did get a 30-06 from there and it is a nice gun but i might take it back becouse i dont have the acres to use it so thats why and i mostly hunt in swamps and woods so i use my 20 ga. for that with slugs and that is a nice gun to

This kit was designed by Doug Ritter from Equipped To Survive. This is a good starter kit, and additional items can be added. I use this kit all the time and I have tested all the items except the Scalpel Blade(still in original sterile package) for over the last year and half. I added a Photon Micro-Light II , 2 Potable Aqua Chlorine Dioxide Tablets, a Commando Wire Saw rolled up and wrapped in paracord. All of this fits in the orginal waterproof case the kit comes with.

Check out "survival kits" page. He reviews different kits and how to make kits.

Also, I want to mention that Survival Resources recommends the AMK POCKET SURVIVAL PAK as a good starter kit. John McCann founded Survival Resources who is the author of the book "Build the Perfect Survival Kit"

For anybody that is not inclined to make their own kit they are a great idea. Or, as mbarnatl said, you can add to it as you find out what works or doesn't, or if your specific needs are different due to your area.

Ive seen this before, A Lovely little kit, Small to take anywhere yet comprehensive. I based my pocket kit off of this one but changed/added components to suit the climate here.
